The Northern Badia Water Directorate Boosts Water Supply in Dfeinat with Emergency Measures The Northern Badia Water Directorate, along with Al-Ruwaished District, has started technical work to improve water access to the western neighborhood of Dfeinat town. This comes as part of addressing challenges caused by the reduced output of several wells in the Makifteh area and the outage of two wells. The Director of the Northern Badia Water Directorate, Engineer Ahmed Al-Dardour, said that the directorate's team has completed redirecting the water supply source for Dfeinat town to come from the Dfeinat water station instead of the Makifteh water station. This will help increase the amount of water delivered to residents and improve regular supply. He added that the operation and maintenance teams carried out connection work and adjusted water lines according to a plan set by the directorate to address the water shortage in the area, emphasizing that work is continuing in parallel on drilling and equipping three new wells in the Makifteh area to compensate for the reduced output of the current wells and meet the growing demand for water in the coming period. Al-Dardour pointed out that the directorate continues to take necessary measures to ensure citizens are not affected, providing water via company tankers to areas that may experience shortages.
